I don't really know where to put this but hopefully, if there is a better place, someone will tell me or admin can move it?
A tripod girl has been found at Winterbourne, Berks, UK. She is a large white sighthound with brown patches and flecks, most likely a galga or a greyhound/saluki cross (or something similar). She is missing her left hind leg, and has a bandage on her left foreleg such as you would see after a veterinary procedure. It doesn't say if the amputation is recent, but if you click the link for the poster you'll see she's on her feet and standing steadily though she looks depressed. She's a little underweight, judging by her hip bones. Looks like a mid-thigh amp.
Here's the link to the DogLost poster with all her details:
I have an update for this one - a happy ending! 🙂
"I have an update for you all. I am pleased to be able to report that this lovely Lurcher girl is fine and safe. She is being fostered in a home with other dogs with a view to staying permanently. She is healing well and beginning to put weight on. I am unable to provide any other further details but just wanted everyone to know that she is ok. x"
WOOOHOO! Thanks for the great news!
