Hi everyone ,
I just happened upon this senior pup being listed at the NYC ACC site in New York ( All of there shelters here are kill shelters, just an FYI) . His name is Tsunami his 11 yrs old ( mix breed maybe) they only have 1 pic of him . His ID number is 112092 and he has to be adopted thru them or 1 of there approved rescue groups that are listed on there site . I will post the link for him from there page below .
Samson aka Lunkhead. Diagnosed with osteo on11/12/20, passed before he could fight it 11/20/20. You came to me to save me after my Loki passed 1 month later in 2/16 and we had 4.5 great yrs . You were the greatest boy . I couldn't ask for anything more from you but you have me so much more .. The clown of the house ... Daddy will always love and miss you .Stay safe and happy on the other side of that bridge and teach them your soccer moves ...
So kind of you to post this. So sad that a senior tripawd has ended up in a possible kill situation.
We'll keep our paws crossed for this fine fella'. Thank you (and Sqmson😇) again for trying....
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Thank you for sharing! Hopefully this sweetie will find a home very soon.

I don't think Tsunami is a tripawd. They have updated the photos showing all 4 legs and nothing is mentioned in the info about him. The photo that was previously posted did make it appear that he did not have one of his front legs but I think it was just a funny angle.
Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com
Oh wow good eye! Thanks Stacy. Since this forum is for amputee animals only I’m closing this out. Thank you anyhow folks! Keep sharing the Tripawd’s here!

Jerry , Please close this out . I just found out about there screw up with the photos after I went to check his status last night and the pictures were changed and I confirmed it with them this morning via email . His left front leg was cropped out in the first posting and they corrected it . Sorry I didn't catch it sooner .
