Meet Maya, a gorgeous 1.5 year old Aussie puppy who wants a forever home.
Smart, well-trained and ready to be your best friend, she's got a front left leg injury and needs an $8000 leg surgery and a long recovery to repair it. Or, the leg can be amputated and that's that. Her people cannot afford to do either of them.
This sweetheart is currently in the care of a loving vet in Fort Collins, Colorado. All Maya wants is people who will love her whether she's a Tripawd or not. Are you that person? If so, reach out to @dogtorkristen and @sevenseniordogs on Instagram, or contact us for details.

Well good news. A generous vet in Fort Collins is doing the amputation surgery at no charge for Maya and her people. Wow! Vets are truly generous human beings.

Awesome! Happy for her and her people!
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!
