I saw this post on Petfinder thru a link in a Rottweiler in need page .I did verify that he is a Tripawd and the photos are correct . His name is Brooklyn , young male rottie mix. He is at the Red Fern Animal Rescue in Denver ,Co . But I'm sure he could be transported anywhere.
Meet Brooklyn
This sweet boy is arriving this week from Texas and is looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home!
Sadly, Brooklyn has had quite a sad story. He was found curled up on a bridge in the rain on a January night in San Antonio, where there was a food bowl and an old collar next to him. It appeared as though he had been dumped by his owner, so Brooklyn is definitely ready for a fresh start! Poor Brooklyn had an injury to his front leg that was not able to be repaired, and therefore one of his front legs needed to be amputated. Despite this, Brooklyn is just a sweet boy, who is looking for love. Brooklyn is about 2 years old and 45 pounds. His adorable eyebrows and short coat come from his Rottweiler mix. He does wonderful with children and dogs, apparently he's not a fan of cats, but it probably just depends on the cat! Brooklyn loves to play and would love other canine companions in the home! He doesn't seem to notice his missing leg and loves to play with toys and engage with other dogs! Brooklyn likes to play and go on walks, but he’s down to just hangout too. He is completely vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
Go to our website https://redfern.....escue.org/ and FILL OUT AN APPLICATION if you are interested! Due to the amount of inquiries we are receiving, we are prioritizing adoption applications at this time. Make sure you’re filling out an adoption application on Red Fern Animal Rescue’s site in Colorado, as we are not a shelter in Tennessee!
