MEGAN!!!!!! Soooooo good to hear from you AND to see Samson's avatar picture!!! His presence still looms large here!! When people jave concerns about how senior dogs will do with amputation, I often use the Sammer as an outstanding example of how well "mature dogs" can do! Of course they have to be strong willed and stubborn like Sam!

I think Sam is sending you I dia! The kitties will adjust!

Much love to you!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Hahaha! Sampson was a great example...He really was a one-in a million dog, that's for sure. Although, he would tell you...he was old, a veritable senior citizen...but never "mature" 😀 Too much leg-humping and rabbit chasing to be mature 😉

I thought for sure India was holding out for Wyatt to come get her...guess not!

Sounds like she has a wonderful home and with someone who already knows the joy of loving a tripawd.

Thanks for the happy update! 🙂

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Down by me? I sure hope we learn more about them and recruit them to drive up for our pawty!!!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
