Saw this cute boy on Petfinder today and checked with the rescue to make sure it was ok to share his info here! Here he is napping with a foster brother (he's the brindle). 🙂
His name is Skippy and this info is listed about him:
He is a dark brindle boy, maybe 2 years old with a black mask and 3 legs! That doesn't stop him from playing one bit. He loves to run and box with the others he is fostered with. He eats like a gentleman, takes direction well and we are working on commands. He is also crate trained and house trained, knows how to use a doggie door and gets on fine with stairs. He is good with kids of all ages, we are not sure about cats.
Poor guy was found wondering in a rural part of Fairfield County and was allowed to stay outside. Needless to say, we ALL know Boxers are not outside dogs. He is such a sweetie that only wants love and a warm home and humans. He says to mention food, too! If you have the love and the time for me please adopt me?
And the link to his Petfinder page: http://www.petf.....l/17828531
The Rescue Organization is Greater Ohio Boxer Rescue, Inc.
GOBR Phone: 937-277-4652
Email Address: petfinder@goboxerrescue.com
Their website adoption application states that they prefer to adopt to Ohio residents or those close to the Ohio border.
Chance, our 9.5 year old Rottie/Shepherd mix was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his left front shoulder. In July of 2010, we planned to proceed with the amputation, but lung mets were discovered. Chance reached the Rainbow Bridge October 1, 2010, just a few weeks after his 10th birthday.

That's so pawsome that you checked on this boy before posting, thank you. We hope he finds a home very, very soon.
