Hope is a young mixed breed dog located near Austin, TX. She was a stray that was hit by a car in November 2021, had a first surgery shortly after, then a right rear amputation in April 2022. She is currently available through Border Collie Save and Rescue. We’ve been her foster through her rescue journey, and are just amazed at her resilience and determination through it all. She needs slow introductions to new people and dogs, but has been great with my three dogs, my 8year old, and has become friends with all our friends she sees consistently. She is fairly low energy, enjoys sleeping on a dog bed most of the day, but gets zoomies when she first goes outside! She loves sunbathing, anything involving treats, and snuggling on the couch.
