Another feeling we all have: 3-legged dogs are magnets.. . . See 3- legged dog walking down the sidewalk. Stop car - asap. Get out. Trot down street to find out more about the dog and its history. Did the owner think this was creepy?
Hey Rene - Regarding Tripawd Tuesday, I don't know. There's nothing more I can really tell about him unless I tried to pose as a potential adopter (which I'd feel totally guilty about then having to say I couldn't take him), heh heh. I did float the idea to shelter staff via email once already about whether I could meet him just as his "sponsor," so that I could talk him up better to other people. Nope. They're too efficient over there. No time for that. Thanks for the suggestion though.
And it's only creepy to chase after total strangers with tripawds if you chase after the same one more than once... or is it that it's only harassment if it happens more than once... hmmmmm...

I love how they talk about how they've been training with him daily while he's jumping on and off the couch. Oh dear - he'd fit right in with the training expectations at my house. I suspected he was a fellow Couch Hound, like Gerry! Unfortunately, this video also confirmed to me that Mr. Wonderful and Ger would have issues, since Gerry also likes to play rough, but when he's allowed to, it almost always ends up as a fight because Gerry gets overstimulated and naughty.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I wish this dog was in WA state because we are looking to add a male dog to our household. My female Pitt Athena is a little bit bossy so I would hate to trek him all of the way out here and have it not work out. I still have some friends at the clinic I used to work at in WI so I will send the link to them.

By the way, if you know anyone in the Dane County, WI area, who is a fan of any of the following breeds, they've got a lot of Cattle dogs (and mixes), Chihuahuas (and mixes), and Pitties right now in particular!
