Hi my name is Jamie and i have a 3 legged husky and i have just found out that i have cancer and now we are moving to seattle so that my family can help me with my kids...
My problem is i need to find a home, i was hoping someone on here would be able to help me.. i am having trouble finding anything online..
She is my baby and this is hard,
i live in southern california
Jamie,
I hope you don't mind that I moved your post. I felt like it needed a topic of its own so it wouldn't get overlooked. Someone may have a suggestion to help you out.
I am so sorry you are facing this and having to find the husky a new home. It is hard enough to fight an illness, but having to give up something you love has to be even more painful.
Why don't you post a few more details - how quickly does the move need to take place, how old, what temperament - anything that would help someone help you.

Have you looked to see if there is a Husky rescue in Southern California? I did a general Google search and there are several. If you aren't able to find a home, you could relinquish your baby to a rescue organization. They will find him a home and you won't have to worry about him being put down.
Sorry you're dealing with this.

Thank you for this awesome advice. I know I've seen them too, I was just looking for a husky rescue for a relative.
Jamie, don't give up. There are lots of places where you can relinquish him so he has a chance at a good, loving home. Thanks for sharing here, we'll do what we can to help.
