Hi, we have adopted 2 wonderful Goldens from Homeward Bound in Elverta, Ca., close to Sacramento. Sweet Sweet Emmy Lou and Angel Shelby's foster Mom and Dad wrote to us about her. 

Homeward Bound is an all-volunteer group that are seriously over worked and understaffed. I've listed the contact email so you can ask about her. Her name is Goldie and she's not listed under the available dog's page, but she is very available.

I am so excited to be here and finally properly taken care of! The dogs here tell me the best is yet to be. I didn't know what they were talking about. They told me that families come to meet us and if we are really good and they like us they will take us home and we will become part of a family! That sounds so wonderful to me, but I am afraid that's not going to work out for me. I am a nice dog and I get along with everyone, but I am not a whole dog. A sad thing happened to me, and I ended up losing one of my back legs. It doesn't slow me down and it is so nice to be out of that awful pain. I have no restrictions and I can fly up and down stairs! My worry is that I am the only three-legged dog here and all the four-legged ones are going to go home before me. I was so worried that in my evaluation I worked hard and scoured a #1. She's a Level #1, easy to live with.

 That's the best number you can get!
