Hi all! Guest here - altho was a follower of Jerry (and his folks of course) on live. work. dream 🙂 and how I knew about this great site.
I received this email today about a beautiful boy at a shelter in Dahlonega, GA. I don't have much info on his other that what was in the email:

Animal control brought this sweet boy in from a lonely country road. Any
comments about the previous owner is being with held.
Tripod is approximately three, in very good health, friendly, calm and still
able to herd the cats and kids at someone's house.  He is heartworm negative!!   He won't win any
races but he keeps up with the staff during their work day.
The shelter is completely over run but I have been able to hold him for a
short time. Anything you can do will be above and beyond the old call to
duty.
Enough tears.

I just heard from Dan - the contact at the shelter - and said there is a family in the process of adopting him who have a 52 acre farm and 2 other ACDs 🙂  woohoo! Sounds like this guy is safe and going to an awesome home!
