Poor 3 legged Bongo is still in need of a home!
He is a boxer mix 2-3 yrs old. He lost his leg when a neighbor's dog got into a fence fight with him, pulled his leg and body under the fence and destroyed his leg. He was neutered when the amputation was done. Sadly, he has been living in this awful pen filled with feces, filthy or no water and constantly alone 🙁
He loves people, but after his terrible injury to his leg he does not care for dogs. He would be best as an only dog without cats.
He is very people friendly and has a lot of energy! He loves walks and to run! He has been visiting a rescuers house and the owners need him to find a new home and of course he needs a much better home!

I live in Lancaster, one county over from York. If anyone is interested in this baby, I would be more than happy to help in any way I can.
Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11. A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...
