Arttu is a sweet 6 year old Bahamian Potcake tripawd. He’s a male and he’s neutered. He gets along great with other dogs. He’s a quiet mellow guy and he’s good with people. Arttu is healthy but is heartworm positive and rescue will cover cost of treatment. He was a stray before being rescued so information regarding date, age and cause of amputation is unknown. At this time Arttu is at shelter in the Bahamas which is closing down in June. If you can't adopt at this time but would be willing to be a committed foster until he finds his forever home please also reach out. We're a foster based rescue so with a committed foster we can bring Arttu to safety and begin his journey to find a loving forever home.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Update: The shelter in the Bahamas has been able to secure placement for Arttu the Potcake tripawd and he no longer needs to come to FL.
We were trying to help by bringing Arttu and two other Hotcakes Polly and Serafin (non tripawds) here to S FL but the shelter/rescue in the Bahamas let us know that another rescue is taking Polly and Serafin. They told us that Arttu is also safe.
