Hunter is 7 weeks old. He's a typical golden retriever puppy. However, he is related to a line of golden retrievers that have genetic coat defect. He may or may not lose his hair. The loss doesnt rear up until about 3-4 months of age.

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Awwwwwwwwwww! He's so adorable. But how do you know he's a Tripawd? I wish they would have more info about him, he's irresistible.

Don't hate me! It's a 4-legged one (see title). But it was so cute and has a genetic hair problem I just couldn't resist putting it here. We love goldens so much! Plus, it's just so cute to look at!

This is not a Tripawd either, but Tiny Rose is in the German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California program. We have all our dogs on Petfinders and each week we get the results of how many hits each dog gets. The top scoring dog, typically a gorgeous GSD, usually receives in the range of 150 hits. Last week this damn puppy got 500 hits. And she is not even ready to adopt!
