Hi Admin,
I have a new problem on iPad that has been sporadic, but now is worse.....Today I have tried repeatedly to log-in to Tripawds, and I keep getting a completely white screen and in the upper left corner it says in bold black letters, "Access Denied"......
I am starting to worry that I have been kicked out of the Tripawds community, lol !!
I am still using the Safari browser, and I try to continually clear any running windows and such, but this one baffles me.....
Thanks again for all you do, and sorry I keep having strange problems 🙂

This would indicate that the IP address for that device has been blocked, which can happen for various reasons due to the hardened security measures we have had to take.
1. The block may have been temporary, which is usually the case unless repeated attempts to access the site were taken during the block. So first, just try again after at least 5 minutes of any previous attempt.
2. If problems persist, please visit the following link, on the device having the issue: What is My IP Address? Post or send your IP address for that device. We can then remove the block, if that is the case.
this one baffles me.....

Admin, above is my IP address, and Elizabeth suggested I download Google Chrome and start using that instead of Safari, so I did that as well.....don't know if that will make a difference but time will tell. I haven't been kicked out of Google Chrome yet, like is still happening with Safari on occasion.
I am getting a good education with techy stuff, so bring on the problems!! ( No, not really, lol !! )

Ah... this is an IPv6 IP address, which for some reason can cause difficulty connecting to certain servers.
It has not been blocked, but we need to configure IPv6 to allow consistent access via that device. We will be migrting to a new server soon, so not too sure if we'll get to that on our current box.
So... for now, if you disable IPv6 in your wireless router or device settings you should be good to go!

Are you saying you downloaded Chrome for the iPad? And that its working now?

Thanks Admin guy, and yes, since I have downloaded Google Chrome onto my iPad, and have been accessing Tripawds thru it, I have not had any difficulties so far, so I am keeping my fingers crossed !! Elizabeth told me she had all kinds of problems with Safari too, and she uses Google Chrome as well. I am figuring any problems I am having are with my iPad, and not necessarily Tripawds website. I never have problems from my desktop, and that is through Google Chrome as well.

Phew! Thanks for the clarification.
Just curious...are your still accessing Tripawds via the same IPv6 IP address on the iPad when using Chrome? (I doubt it as that would be odd. But it's a good fix to know for others experiencing that issue.)

and I was just curious because IP addresses are assigned by/to the device, not the browser.

Hi Admin, this # above is my IP address with Google Chrome...... So far so good with it, but still keeping my fingers crossed. I did notice a couple small advantages from using G Chrome, it is a bit faster accessing Tripawds, and it allows me to save my log-in so I don't have to enter it every time I am on Tripawds website. Safari would not allow me to do this, which was annoying.

That's better! Interesting how Safari assigns the IPv6 address...
