Please list any Tripawds Blogs you can confirm are not showing up in the global feed.
This would be extremely helpful. We may be on to something here, if you can help us identify a pattern.

Karen’s blog comes to mind right away she was having the same issue.
She would just post in forums and say she updated the blog. She thought she confused the monkeys by switching her blog theme so many times;)

OK, great. Well, not great, but good in the sense we're starting to see a pattern since both of these are Tripawds Supporter Blogs.
As the monkeys like to say, once is a fluke, twice is a coincidence, and three times is a pattern!
Anyone else aware of any other Tripawds Blogs with posts regularly missing from the Recent Global Posts Feed? (This is a challenge to identify since RSS does not archive posts Tripawds only feeds the last 25.)

On second thought, you sure about that? Karen's rescueelly site has 9 published posts, and all 9 have been indexed, unlike purrkins who has 26 of which 12 are currently indexed, explaining those missing from the feed...

She has a forum post on Elly's blog and it not showing up and would post there. So people would see to comment.

I added a post to Elly's blog on Rainy Day Activities. It didn't show up in the Recent Blog Posts on the Forums page so I thought I would throw it out here.
After I wrote the post I changed the theme about 10 times so I probably confused the little web creatures that make the list big-grin

You have a great memory Holly! I didn't remember that I had that issue with Elly's blog. I usually post in my forum thread that I updated Elly's blog because the new blog posts cycle off the fourm page so fast- that one time with the Rainy Day Activities is the only time I noticed it didn't show up at all. And I think the only place I looked to see if it showed up was the list of 5 Recent Blog Posts that shows on the Forums page- I didn't look on the blog page.
So in summary: I have a crappy memory and I can really offer nothing of value in this topic!

Really sorry for replying back to you so late. Unfortunately we don't have any update from developers yet. They should be working on it, and as soon as there is a fix you will be made aware of it.

We don't like to get too excited too quickly when it comes to shmuch matters, but could we get a drumroll please?
With the help of the powers that be, we believe* this issue may be addressed once and for all.
The culprit? Those darn emojis! 😤 And a little thing having to do with unicode database table collation...
In short, it took some doing—OK, a lot of doing—but Purrkins blog posts are all being indexed. And we are currently re-indexing all Tripawds Blogs to ensure any other emojified posts across the network are not being lost in the ether.
Sure, we could have just asked bloggers to not use emojis in their posts, but that's not how we roll...
Thank you for your patience! And thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. No, really.
