Purrkins blog does not always show up on the global feed? Seems like some post’s show up some do not. Sorta random. Very rare it does show up.
I saw your were testing “for ingesting porpoises only”😉 Purrkins blog or your ingesting porpoises did not show up in my RSS feed. I see other blogs do not show up on my feed. Is this something I have set up wrong in Purrkins blog or ?

That's weird! I remember this happened to someone once before. Ffionn's Mum, I think? And, as I remember, it was because she was creating new pages, rather than blog posts (I think?), so it didn't come up as a blog. But I just checked your blog and it looks just like Meg's, and the blog posts certainly look like blog posts, so I don't understand. Hopefully Admin can help. I don't want to be missing Purrkins's blog

Funny you should mention that BECAUSE DaBears HQ watched an Oscar winning entry yesterday:something about a killer cat named Purrkins on some type of journey:) LOVED it Holly!!! And wanted to know when it would show up here...are my settings wrong or is the feed random?

We will need to investigate further and take a closer look at your site's settings. But first:
We need to know if you are referring to the Tripawds Recent Global Posts Feed (the network-wide RSS feed for all Tripawds Blogs ), or the Tripawds Blogs Directory?

Charliebear has no blog, yet. 
There are no settings to configure for viewing either the global RSS feed or the Blogs Directory.
The feed (for both) is not random, it is chronological and fed from the current index of all Tripawds blog posts.
PS: After a quick glance, we do notice that Purrkins' recent post is in the list of latest Posts. We also notice, however, that the site's Permalinks settings have been changed from the default pretty permalinks to plain, so this may be causing trouble. We'll tweak those if necessary once we get clarification on what "global feed" we're talking about. Thanks!

No, not sure anything is screwed up yet. And don't change anything, our team of trained monkeys is still tinkering around and will make any necessary changes.
Next Question: Do you actually use any of the Jetpack features? We notice Jetpack has been activated (which is just fine and dandy) but it has not been connected to any WordPress.com account.
We need to do a bit more troubleshooting, but don't want to turn off any features you use, or at least turn them back on if you do.

Which is fine, just wondering if you actually use any of the settings configured in JetPack, other than Stats. (The plugin has some great features, but it is notorious for not playing nice with others.)
We did find some old purrkins posts that did not get indexed, perhaps because of the non alpha-numeric characters—the / and ) type of stuff—in some post titles (which shouldn't matter). Still trying to figure out what's going on with the most recent post.
No expense here, we had nothing better to do...

You were able to take both off and that did not fix it? the jet pack and all in one SEO. (all in one is SEO is back now) interesting to see what the trained monkey figure out;).

This is turning out to be one of those truly tricky tickets...
We even just published a test post as purrkins and it fed to the feed properly. (We'll delete that once done testing.)
Interested in seeing if your future posts get fed properly!

Don't thank anyone yet. That kinda worked...some of purrkins posts are still not indexed, and the other most recent post still does not appear in the feed.
Gonna have to whip those monkeys a bit harder! And we may just have to put this one in wait and see mode for now, while we wait for word form the powers that be.

LMAO Well either way I do appreciate it! Its progress! Just to add to your terror, Purrkins is not the only one who does not show up if that is helpful to you at all. I suspect its not but letting you know anyway;)
