Getting a TON of spam on Steve's blog. The spam filter is catching less than half of it. Can anything be done or do I just have to delete it all as it comes through?
Right rear leg amp due to injury from unknown cause (but don't tell her she's missing her spare...yes HER!)

Yeah ... today was a tough spam day for Shelby's blog too! I think I got 6 or 7 messages in under an hour. Maybe a filter is off?

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Fighting spam comments is a constant battle for all blogs, and we're sorry you have to deal with this on yours.
We've checked your blog settings, activated another plugin, and enabled the most robust spam protection we can offer. Other suggestions include: disallow comments altogether, or require users to be registered and logged in to comment. Both settings can be updated from your Dashboard -> Settings -> Discussion tab.
We hope this helps.

Yes, the Russians and Ukranians were apparently busy today. We have taken measures to block the bots, until they likely mask their IPs again.
The fight continues...

Y'all too! I got a ton. Just deleted all of it. Mine did not go into my spam folder though. Well, I have not checked it. This all came into my regular mail. One of them Said, " this is transparently, except it was misspelled, clear. The only thing that is transparently clear here is that someone has way too much time on their hands. 😉
