Admin,
I have tried 4 times to send a PM and I don't think it is working. I have no copy of it in my Sent Box. I sent one on Friday and then this morning again when I noticed it wasn't in my sent box. I then tried it two more times this morning (minutes ago) and there still isn't showing a PM sent.
(it was to Riley)
Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Just sent two out and it worked for me. They were also in my sent box.
I am using Firefox 3.5.16 on XP.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please provide a much information as possible when reporting technical issues, or we will be unable to troubleshoot the matter.
Steps to take before reporting problems:
Please clear your browser cache if you have not done so since the recent forum upgrade Friday.
Reset any browser cookies from tripawds.com by removing them, relaunching your browser, and visiting this site again.
Try a different web browser (Firefox recommended) to see if problem persists.
Provide the following information* when reporting problems:
What web browser and version are you using?
What onscreen error notices did you receive, if any?
What were you doing prior to the error?
What specific behavior did you experience when the issue occurred?
What was the exact time when the problem happened?
What is your IP address at the time of the issue?
So... specific to the issue at hand with this topic, what behavior is happening after clicking Send Message? Does the page refresh to your inbox? Was a recipient(s) selected? Was a message subject entered? We are unable to replicate this issue so we must rely on user reports for as much information as possible. Thank you.
@Riley Was the message you received from cometdog? If you were unable to force-quit your browser and your entire computer froze up, there are system level concerns at play beyond the reach of any errors that may have been thrown by this website. Sounds like a memory issue.
*Without such details we are unable to help troubleshoot and try to resolve any technical difficulties.

I only received one PM from Ge'Lena......
Please clarify the message title so she can confirm if it is the errant message she reported not saving.

One more thing to consider... the maximum number of Private Messages per user is 100. This limit includes messages stored in your Inbox and Sentbox.
When the limit is reached (adding both boxes together), the member will still be allowed to receive Private Messages but will no longer be allowed to send any until they have removed some old messages to below their maximum limit.
If you are the type to store all the PMs you have ever received or sent, please try clearing out both your Inbox and Sentbox of unnecessary messages to see if that helps. Inactive messages are automatically removed after 90 days.
