I've noticed recently I no longer have a button to reply with quote on mobile. I think this option used to be there. My guess is the timing coincides with becoming a moderator.

Nice catch! This is intentional. We removed this option long ago. It's been a couple years since we last modified the forum theme, and removed that function.
Too many users didn't understand how to use the "quote" feature when responding. It resulted in a continuous stream of duplicate content, with the vast majority of new members quoting rather than replying. They would also never edit the quote, so entire posts would be repeated multiple times in one topic.
