Now that I have figured out how to get a picture on a post I need to know if I can put more than one picture along with a single post.

You can embed as many pictures in each forum post as you like. Place your cursor where you want the picture to appear and use the insert button. Then do this again, for each photo. Use the styling options in the Insert/Edit Image dialogue box to position your images as you like.
