The new user made her name this I went in to look at changing user name and it is clearly not allowed. I know she can make a nickname and use that, but can YOU change her username so she doesn't get gremlin email?
I see a lot of options. Making a nickname can be used as what people see as a user name but I think it will still hold the other info if people look at her profile.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think you just needed to clear your cache, it's now showing up as amerlinoutnabout. You can change how your user name displays in your Forums Profile. Click on your profile, and choose "Edit Profile." The box for "Display Name" is where it gets changed. Make sense?

To clarify, no. A username cannot be changed. It's a WordPress thing, beyond our control. The Nickname and Display Name can certainly be changed.
