It's that time of year again and no doubt you are looking for that special gift for people in your life. When you do, Admin Guy and I hope that you'll remember how much your shopping choices matter here in the Tripawds Nation.
Between our Tripawds Gear Shop, Tripawds Gifts and our Tripawds.com Amazon Affiliate links, Admin Guy and I directly earn small commissions that chip in to offset the costs of keeping this community online. We don't make a ton of money doing it, but when combined with our jewelry making, freelance writing, website and marketing consulting, it enables us to be available for this community throughout the day. The more Tripawds.com makes, the less the Tripawds Foundation needs to raise.
But this year, we've noticed a significant dip in our sales and we can't help but wonder if it's because of the way that the Amazon machine has changed the way we all shop online. Our suspicions were confirmed today when we heard this on NPR:

We understand that competing with Amazon on price is pointless. The service and support we do offer, however, cannot be found there or anywhere else. For example:
- We understand the physical and emotional needs of Tripawd parents like no other retailer
- We know what products work and don't work on our three-legged pals
- And we can offer many suggestions that make your Tripawd's life (and yours) safer, happier and better.

The Admin Guy gave a great tutorial if you go to the "read on https://tripawd.....ate-links/" link Jerry noted above. It's comprehensive and dummied down so even tavlet techies could understand it, even if the questions were nonsensical to real computer people.
