I missed the chat last night mostly because I wasn't aware it was going on 'till it was over.
You asked how to bring people in, one way may be to make a new thread on the day of a chat? I always look at the bottom of the threads for new ones, that may help others as well as myself. Maybe some thread bumps during the day also?
My friend Shelley Lake DVM says you invited her for a chat, I sure don't want to miss that! She has had 2 greyhounds with osteo, one she took that amp/chemo route & the other just palliative care. I believe she tried arteminisin with one of them also.

We've always had a topic thread for upcoming chats where we posted announcements. We've created a new ask a vet forum to make it more obvious, and will try to post reminders the day of each chat.
