Gator wears his everyday. You might remember the night he escaped over the old fence. When I finally found him, it was the jingling of his angel tag against his Village license that let me know he was close.
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.

Yikes, I'm so bad about updating what's been going on in the Tripawds Etsy Shop! But right now is a good time to do it, because...
Since last weekend I've been away at what I call "jewelry camp," aka the big Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. That's why you haven't seen Jerry around here very much (thank you Admin Guy!). Each year we come here so I can work long days & nights to help out a fabulous artist who teaches metalsmithing classes. In exchange, among other things, I get to learn lots of cool new techniques like this:
I learned how to prong set stones. And also how to improve on my torch fired enameling skills. Yay!
It won't be long before I incorporate these techniques into our store offerings, so watch for sparkly new bling in the coming months!

Paw shucks, thanks gals. I have fun and it really is an honor to be chosen for something like that. When someone orders I try to remember to ask them to send a photo of their cat or dog if I haven't 'met' them before, just so I can keep their pal in my heart when I'm making the piece.
Yes, a ring is coming soon, hopefully by this weekend. I took several photos of the ring that Petra is referring to, but didn't like the way they came out (it's soo hard to take good photos of a ring without a model!). But while I was at the gem show I got a shopping day in and bought a ring finger model do-dad (does that make sense?) that should help the photos do it justice. Stay tuned!

Can’t wait to see the ring on that fancy do-dad thing! 😉 You speak betta inglish than I do!!! 😂 Honestly though, this makes perfect sense! I was actually thinking of that ring today as I was looking at some bling in the jewelry case in town!
