OH my is it that time of year again?

Tripawd Mom's Day is around the corner!

It's always an honor to see someone wearing their Tripawds bling. Thanks for showing off your custom necklace at the Tripawds NorCal pawty, Alison!

Just a little note to let folks know the Tripawds Etsy shop holiday season deadlines:

• The last day for custom orders will be on Friday December 9 at midnight. That's when the elves go into overtime to get everything out in time, so if you want to order, we thank you for placing your orders well before then.
• Non-custom orders can be placed up to Thursday December 15.
• Orders placed by those deadlines will arrive by December 24th at the very latest.

I have to share this cute story that long-time Tripawds member Karen Riley (aka krun15) shared about her Quadpug Obie. What a relief knowing that the custom Guardian Angel tags we make really do protect dogs and cats!

With her permission, here's the story:

Hi Rene, I thought you might enjoy this story:

Both of the dogs wear their 'Rene made' guardian angel tags on their harnesses.  Each of them actually have two- Elly has a Tripawd stamped tag and her angel tag, Obie has his silver colored name tag you made for him when you made my Maggie and Tani dog tag in addition to his angel tag.

A couple days ago my dad and I were walking the dogs in the neighborhood and Obie was attacked by a small dog that lives down the street.  I have seen that dog lose many times but I have never seen her aggressive, in fact I walked her back home once when I found her in my yard.  She ran at us from across the street and went right after Obie- I thought she bit him because she had a hold of something.

I chased her off and checked Obie.  He seemed fine, no bite marks, just a little lose fur on his shoulder.  We went on with our walk and didn't realize until we were on the way home that the dog had pulled Obie's tags off his harness! My dad found the silver tag in the gutter near where the dog rushed us and I realized that the angel tag was gone too,  I looked around but couldn't find it.

Today I was walking Elly by herself and found Obie's angel tag!  So the tag saved him when the dog tried to bite him and then came back to us so I could put it back on his harness.
