Well, we are so hoppy that more and more feline Tripawds (and Tripawds to-be) are joining us here. It's very, very cool, so thank you!
I'm writing to ask our feline members for some help with our Tripawds Resources page. I would like to create a list of cat-specific links to amputation information there. So, would you mind sharing some reputable websites and information about feline amputation that you've discovered on the Internet?
For example, Tripawd Freya just told us about a website called Archie Cat, a UK-based site that discusses one family's cat amputation experience. If you know of others, please do share and I'll put them in our Resources link.
Thanks again, it's so much fun to have new feline friends!

To be perfectly honest, this website was the best resource I had because I could talk to other owners (even though most were dog owners)! There is really a lack of information out there on Cat Amputation ....but here are a few other sources I found:
http://voices.y.....64436.html
http://mysite.v.....ripod.html
http://handicap...../helppets/ (not just for cats)
and these were three blogs I found that (in addition to Fang's blog of course) I found extremely comforting to read:

http://tripodbe.....gspot.com/

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Jill here! Mommy is driving herself crazy researching "cat osteopoopoma" on the Internet so we wanted to let you know about to great yahoo groups she found that are great resources:

the second website is mostly for owners of kitties that have vaccine associated sarcoma, but there are many tripawds on there and a few owners who have kitties with osteosarcoma
