Faith who is 11 years old had her surgery in December just before Christmas. Wanted to let you know that 7 months later she is doing fabulous. She is up and running....swimming.....and loving life. She keeps up with my other lab who is 7. Best decision I made.... Thanks for all of your support during that very crazy time.
Yay for Faith!! Thanks for the update. We always look forward to good news around here.
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Yes indeed, that is great news! I went back and looked at or posts and saw how you struggled with your decision ...as do oste of us here!
SOOOOOOO glad you made the right decision for yo and your girl!! Every second is sacred and I know she's getting more loving and spoiling than she...or you...could ever have imagined!
ENJOY THE BLISS:-)
Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
That is really terrific news! We love hearing back from folks to find out how their Tripawd is doing. We are really happy for you both.
I hope you don't mind but I moved your post here to "Size and Age Matters." It will give a lot of hope to pawrents who are contemplating amputation for their senior pup.
In the meantime if you have any photos to share we'd love to see them!
