YAY, Molly J! It's about 5 weeks after her amputation, and all of our balance training has paid off! Now, she's once again participating in one of her favorite pastimes, digging for moles. The only difference is that now, she has to lie down to have her muddy feet cleaned off.

Thanks, guys. Her balance training consists of a daily regimen of rope tug as well as short range fetch. She has always brought her rope to me when I'm dancing in the house. She's started bringing it to me again these past 2-3 weeks. We each have an end and I guide her forward, back, and side to side. It's really nothing special, tricky, or costly. We're just playing like we normally do. With fetch, I just toss her toy a short distance so she doesn't have to travel too far. So, she makes quick movements, turns, stops, gallops, and wants more. Sure, she still slips when she turns too fast or starts running amok, but she gets right back up and into the game.
Awww this sounds like such a blast and what a great way to bond! Thanks for the extra details.
