Today I feel so blessed to be able to post that it is Tasha's 7 th month ampuversary. Tasha continues to do good. She is a very happy, active, very vocal and spoiled girl. She surprises me at how vocal she has become since her surgery. She was never a barker before but now she has figured out that if she gives one of her special whooofs she gets what she wants. Yes she is spoiled but I am very lucky to have her with me to spoil so no complaints, even when she wants tummy pets for sooo long that my arms feel like they will fall off.
So today we will celebrate Tasha's 7 th month ampuversary with a cart ride out into the desert, lots of tummy pets and most important to Tasha with ice cream. !!!
Tasha 8 years old, First cancer diagnosis 6/26/09, Last cancer diagnosis 9/26/09, Amputation 10/01/09, Loving our girl moment by moment.
Tasha lost her battle and became my Angel on May 4 2011. Forever in my heart….

Tai – 9 yr old lab. Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Dec 18/09. Front right leg amputated Dec 21/09. Started chemo Jan 7/10. Lung mets discovered Sept 16/10. Valiant to the end on Oct 26/10 when cancer reappeared in a leg and we made the decision to set her free. Forever in my heart where not even cancer can take her from me.

Amputation on 11/10/09, due to Histiocytic Sarcoma in left elbow. Angel Harley earned his wings on 06/24/10.

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Happy 7 Month Ampuversary Tasha!! That's so pawesome!! That's so funny about the barking because Mackenzie barks more than ever now...strutting her stuff....must be something about the empowerment you feel being a tripawd hero....which you are! Keep on getting those tummy rubs, cart rides and ice cream. Here's wishing you many, many more ampuversaries!
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!

Happy Ampuversary, Tasha! Trouble found her voice after her amputation also. Never was a barker, but has now become very vocal. Hope to see many more great ampuversay milestones for Miss Tasha.

We will be celebrating this wonderful milestone. Dad has a big smile just thinking that another of our heros will be haveing a PAWRTY in honer of making another ampuversary. Seven months is very large. I remember that we were on our "Month of June" in Yellowstone when I had mine. Dad will be toasting this great achievement. Personally, I am so very glad that you will be getting the kind of attention you deserve – cart rides into the desert, tummy rubbs, extra huggs and of course ICE CREAM. Perhaps we have started a tradition. I remember going to Baskin & Robbins for my one year ampuversary Celebration.
You just keep on beating this cancer and enjoying your life. I know that your Mom really appreciates your continued company. Personally, I think that voicing you desires is nothing more than communicating your needs efficiently. Why waste time when there is so very much time to enjoy. Dad says to also thank you for your support during my journey. Your words were very much appreciated, but now it is all about celebrating the seven month ampuversary. We all will be thinking of you as we enter Yellowstone on the day of your eight month ampuversary.

Life is good, so very, very good!!! Gayle enjoyed each and every moment of each and every wonderful day (naps included). She left this world December 12, 2011 – off on a new adventure.
