It has been 3 months today since I lost my leg, heck I didn't need that thing anyway. I can run, jump, chase a rabbit or even a cat that gets into my yard. My mom says I lost a leg but found my voice. Ok, I admit it I am one spoiled dog. I give out one of my famous whooofs and I get my tummy petted and I love that, sometimes if I am outside I give out one of my whooofs if I feel alone and someone comes out to be with me, I guess I get almost anything I want when I give out one of those whooofs. Life is good for me and I am loving my life. So today I celebrate 3 months with 3 legs and what could be better than that.

Horray for that three month mark. You sound a lot like Trouble, she found her voice after surgery also. Now all these months later, whenever she wants anything - attention, food, outside, etc she woofs and Mom gets to figure out what she readly wants.
I hope to read many, many more great ampuversary updates for Tasha.

Every day we can spend with our companions is a day for celebration, but reaching a milestone as great as the 3 month ampuversary is reason for PARTY!! At this moment, celebration such a great achievement is very welcomed by this entire community. However, there is no such thing as a spoiled dog, just well trained pawrents who now how to treat such special personalities.

Angel Jake's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!

You know...we do work the amputation thing pretty well don't we? I got WAY more spoiling and attention (if that was even possible). Mom always said that I could do no wrong in her eyes...but I was a good boy, I didn't take TOO much advantage of that (hee hee)

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
