Tai is celebrating her 3 month ampuversary today with intermittent snoozing at my feet, which she is doing currently, and gopher (our prairie equivalent of a squirrel) chasing. I am so glad that she has battled the cancer long enough to see the emergence of spring. It was my first goal when we started down this road at Christmastime. She has been a huge source of inspiration to me and I love every minute that we get to spend together. Now if I could just get her coat to grow in evenly 
(she's missing blotches but I think that's thanks to the chemo).
Tai would like to let you know that she is getting extra treats (although not too many as she's trying to watch her waistline a bit) and loads of tummy rubs and ear scratches.
Tai – 9 yr old lab. Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Dec 18/09. Front right leg amputated Dec 21/09. Started chemo Jan 7/10. Lung mets discovered Sept 16/10. Valiant to the end on Oct 26/10 when cancer reappeared in a leg and we made the decision to set her free. Forever in my heart where not even cancer can take her from me.
Congrats Tai! Spring will make all us Wintertime recent Tripawds feel sooo much better! It has me! 🙂

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
Way to go Tai. Three months is a great time, and chasing gopher in the springtime is just a great way to celebrate. Here's wishing you many, many more!

Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.

Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Eh, what's some bald patches compared to being able to see spring? Yipeeeeee! Congratulations Tai, we can't believe it's already been 3 months. You are beating the odds and showing the world that you are PAWESOME!!!!

Every day you can be together is a day to celebrate, but reaching a milestone as great as three month ampuversary is a reason to PAWRTY! Very glad to see that you will be getting extra attention, a few treats, but for me I most appreciated the ICE CREAM. Spring will be full blown soon and you can chase the gophers. Hope that you have your Summer plans well in hand because you will be needing them sooner than you think.
