Kona turned 9yrs on April 16, 2010.
Kona was diagnosed Memorial Weekend 2010 with osteosarcoma.
Right rear leg amputated on June 4th. First chemo June 18th 2010
Second chemo July 9th, 2010 Third and final (yea !!!) chemo July 30th, 2010
ONE TOUGH GIRL this Australian Cattledog !
***Kona's journey/fight ended late in the evening of December 22, 2010***

Bella 9yrs, albino lab/aussie shep/pit?(abandoned in mts as a puppy) deaf & blind (from birth) in one eye limited vision in other.(laid back, ok lazy 73 lbs)
Cotton, 5yrs, albino hound/terrier of somesort/???(abandoned in mts as a puppy) deaf & blind in one eye(from birth), excellent vision in seeing eye. (ball addict…destroyer of Kong balls…yes,etc), high energy 55lbs knots of muscle)
Kona Kai's pup brother and sister as well as her buddy and playmate cat, Shaymous 12yrs (like Seamus), miss her terribly.

Angel Jake and Wolfie's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!

Instead of discussing the exact date, just celebrate both. It works for me!! Dad says that such a great milestone would definately call for a PAWRTY of more than one day - so go for it. Now lets make sure that we have all the requirments - extra hugs, extra play time, special treats, cheese, and ICE CREAM. Dad will be celebrating vicariously for both Gayle and Tai. Guess that is just another reason to have a multi-day PAWRTY.
We will be waiting to see photos of the great event.

PS from Spirit Cherry's Dad: Cherry always gets carried away with Pawrties, but this is a great milestone. Just wanted to make sure that you realize just how happy we are to hear of this event. We can always use a good reason to smile, and they do not come much better than ampuverseries.
Happy Ampuversary, Gayle! We're definitely going to have lots of cheese in your honor, and a few extra naps, too!

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Well well, the pug pack is late to the party again- how did I miss this post?
Anyway- 6 months is awesome, no matter what day makes it official.
I had Mag's wrong for a long time too because she stayed and extra day at the hospital.
In honor of this noteworthy event the pugs will dedicate at least one of their naps tomorrow to Gayle!!
