Hi Everyone,
Serge is doing really well, and is bonding nicely with our 4 1/2 yr old GSD Raven. We are slowly getting round to starting the exercise regimen, but he has too been busy going everywhere in the car with my wife (he now only throws up one out of every four trips !!) meeting people, playing in the local Provincial Park, even been to my wifes' staff barbecue, and met and played with a one year old Lab, belonging to one of the staff members.
Some photos of the first tentative "jump" into the paddling pool, and (of course) a "cuteness alert" photo, and some photos taken during the remants of hurricane "Arthur" that hit the Canadain Maritimes pretty hard (as a tropical storm) Poor Serge got "bowled" over every time he turned perpendicular to the wind. It is difficult to believe that the wind could turn a paddling pool full of water into a "clam-shell" On the last photo by (what used to be) the pool, you can see clearly how strong the wind was by looking at how his ears are blown back..Luckily we missed most of the really haevy rain, and escaped power outages..
Take care you all, and have a good week
Richard

Ohhhhh I needed these photos to kick off my Monday! I love those kids!
Hoppy Ampuversary Serge, you made it to lucky #3! It's good to see you. Keep us posted on your adventures OK? You sure lead a busy life.
Glad you didn't get blown away by the awful weather. Yikes

Awwwwww! You were right. A cuteness alert was necessary.
Kathi and Murphy
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
