It's actually Tuesday, but no time like the present! I spent this afternoon shopping and baking for a cake tomorrow. Here's some new videos for everyone. 🙂
This morning he gets a bone snack:
Then at lunch, giant bones from my cousin. One was for him and one for bulldog Betty. But Betty was sleeping and Raven decided to hoard both. Happy boy. (Betty got hers later)
And here's his normal dinner tonight, sharing with his cat buddy Cowboy. Tomorrow, birthday cake!

Thank you everyone! I uploaded the full story with more pics on his blog at: raven.tripawds.com But since the videos there are cut and paste links, I figured, I'd post those here to further this forum post string. 🙂
For day two of the birthday weekend, Raven got cake for breakfast. And since Betty is a rescue, around 12 years old, I decided we would officially make this her birthday too!
Here's video of cutting the cake. He's a perfect gentleman and needed coaxing to eat it since it was up on the table. However, if I put it on the floor, he'd have swallowed it in two bites (see videos below). And he gets a mammoth bone gift from neighbor Raenel:
Here he gets some gifts, shares his cake with his cat brother, and gets a full slice (don't blink he swallows it whole):
And finally, Betty and Raven get their cakes on plates, gone in 2 seconds!

Hoppy Birthday Raven and Betty!!
Love the videos of Raven with his giant bone and birthday cake... So nice of him to share his food with Cowboy... Raven is looking so good these days... I'm so glad that he made it over his latest medical scare... Hopefully he will do well for a long time!!!

Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
