Happy 26 month ampuversary Nova! I know what you mean about the big dogs touching a special place in your heart, I guess once you have had one of these big lovable giants you get partial. 26 months is such a remarkable feat! and your conclusion is a good one, I agree even if I were to lose Coop I would still come here and cheer on the survivors! this battle and all the remarkable people and dogs just seem to get you pulling for everyone. Happy happy ampuversary!!

I have to admit, I feel a little guilty announcing it,
NEVER FEEL GUILTY, especially when it comes to such success. It only seems like yesterday (last January) when the Queen was scaring the pants off Mom. At times, the new diagnosis, losses, and all the tribulations make it hard to log on,. but the Ampuversary Celebrations are so very special and so inspawrational. I have to admit - that Miss Cherry would not like it if this community cannot join in celebrations. We all know how hard it is to get to where the Queen is in this journey. It will ALWAYS bring smiles to hear of such successess as Nova, Trouble, Jerry and Cemil (soon to make the two year mark unless my calculations are incorrect.)
SO BRING ON THE PAWRTY! Extra Hugs, Extra Playtime, Extra Special Treats, and ICE CREAM all around. The noise you are hearing from the Bay Area, is the big celebration for the Queen. We are also practicing for Trouble's comming 26 and Cemil's 24 month ampuversary. See how uplifting such postings can be.

Nova - Amazing, amazing, amazing!! You have no idea how much it means to me to celebrate with you. We love survival and success stories. For us too, it's so important to hear that a big dog really can do it.
Thank you. And Happy Day to you! Rock on, our Queen!

I would have sworn I posted a reply yesterday from work, but I sure don't see it today.
Nova, our journey together has been an awesome one. It is almost unthinkable that two out of five would have made it this far, that truly gives hope for others just beginning the journey. And that is why it is important for us to continue to celebrate the ampuversaries, even when we feel conflicted, because I know exactly what you mean - sometimes it is the hardest thing for me to do.
The beautiful Queen will forever have a place in my heart, and each celebration for her will be a happy day for me. Here's to many, many more. Long live the Queen!
Shanna & Spirit Trouble ~ Trouble gained her wings 3/16/2011, a 27 1/2 month cancer survivor, tail wagging. RIP sweetheart, you are my heart and soul. Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
The November Five - Spirits Max, Cherry, Tika, Trouble & Nova. 11/2008 - 3/2013 An era ends as Queen Nova crossed the Bridge.
Woo-hoo!!!! (or, I guess, Roo-roo!!) Congrats, Queen Nova! Wishing you many, many more!
Amputation on 11/10/09, due to Histiocytic Sarcoma in left elbow. Angel Harley earned his wings on 06/24/10.
I would expect nothing less than her Majasty reclining and doing what Queens do, which is to share their very presence with those of us lucky enough to be in their court.
What an amazing girl you are! Please continue to snub your nose at cancer and live a very long, Queenly life.
From your friend, Shelby, the P.P.
Queen Nova, we wish you the very best day you can have. We're celebrating with you (Cemil napping on his big pillow). Congratulations!!!

I agree with Bob. Never feel guilty for announcing a celebrations. New tripawds, and those of us that didn't get enough time, need to hear of successes. Great job Nova! Celebrate in style!
Debra & Angel Emily
Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.
Yay, Queen Nova! We're a little late to the celebration, but will definitely have some delicious treats in your honor this weekend! You are a true inspawration to us! All hail the Queen!!!
Hugs,
Holly, Zuzu and Susan
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!
