Ok, make that 10 months 9 days...I'm a little late.
She's doing great. Hard to believe she's about 12 years old now and going stronger than ever on three legs!

Congratulations on reaching such a wonderful milestone as 10+ months. We will just presume that the nine day delay was because of the extended celebration, but I am sure that the holiday season might have contributed. The sounds that you hear from the east bay are from all the roudies celebrating vicariously this great milestone. Carmen was absolutely right that every extra day is special and reaching these milestones deserves a special pawrty. Extra Hugs, Extra Playtime, Special Treats, and ICE CREAM. Even with the cold and wet, ice cream is always a necessity for these celebrations.

Happy 10 month ampuversary Mika!! We havent met yet as I just joined the group in October this year, but my family and i watch all the ampuversaries and set goals based on tripawds like yourself that have come so far! Keep up the great work! And hoping for many many more for you!

Congratulations on ten months! Every month seems like a year when we are living with cancer.

Rusty is a Labradoodle who was diagnosed with level 3 Fibrosarcoma on January 16th, 2010 and had his left hind leg amputated on January 25th, 2010 five days before his 18 month birthday. Please see Rusty's blog @rusty.tripawds.com. He is putting up one heck of a fight against this terrible disease.

Happy 10 months (and 9 days), Mika! We are so happy to be able to share your celebration. Maybe mom won't forget your 11th, since it won't be during the holiday season. Hope you had some great Christmas presents.
