Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

A very happy birthday to our Megstar. I joined in with Frankie and Myrtle's fine rendition of Happy Birthday but I think I was off key. Did you see Frankie's tail wagging under the blanket?
It's obvious you bring so much joy to your mom and your stories and photos always bring smiles and laughter to your Tripawd Fanclub.
I hope you got lots of treats and playtime on your special day.

This is just PURE JOY! Thanks so much, Sally, and Frankie and Myrtle for your birthday chorus, and Linda, Teresa and Kerren for the birthday wishes too. I don't have internet at home at the moment, so am watching in the local cafe, where the knitting group, gathered round a table in the corner, seemed slightly startled by the sudden onset of Frankie's fabulous baritone. So obviously, I played it again. I LOVE the way his tail wags under the covers.
