Sally I love that Myrtle finds the chicken interesting enough to play around with it.
As for Frankie, well I wonder if he's creeped out by the netting that surrounds the chicken? It's kind of like when a bank robber pulls a nylon over their head. Creeeeeepy!

Awww Mitchell! He was trying so hard to please his Mum and Dad. And he does love the hippo, but he'd rather have the ball, but most of all he is just LOVING the interaction. So sweet. I'm a sucker for bull breeds. I love the way they relate to you. And Mitchell is a wonderful (and oh so handsome...) example ❤️

Frankie, you are SUCH a softie. For all your bravado and howling antics, you are just SUCH a wussy ol' pup at heart. I know the rubber chicken is VERY scary, but you are such a lucky hound to have sweet Myrtle to protect you. Or rather the chicken... Sweetheart Myrtle looks after everyone. What a beautiful sensitive soul. I love her solid, calm presence ❤️

So, the chicken was not a big hit around here either. Elly was intrigued with the squawking at first, and was excited when she thought it would chase her, but she got bored and then quite irritated by the noisy pirate!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
HAHA! They are like 'Who is they one-legged pirate chicken who has invaded our home!' I love the way Obie leaves the guarding to Elly. She's so lithe isn't she! The way she moves! I also LOVED her telling the chicken to be quiet. I think what Elly wants is YOU. She'll engage with the chicken if you're holding it, but she has no interest in the chicken on its own. ❤️

I love that Merry Myrtle is getting therapy from all of this, I think after seeing Jets Creepy Chicken (and it looks like they agree! Ha!) and then looking at the one legged Pirate Chicken that Ellie was telling to “Shut Up!” , that we are all just a little Nuts 🥜!!! Buahahaha!!!

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)
