What a big milestone! One month! I bet your parents are starting to breathe a little easier now, huh? 🙂 Today I was talking to someone who med a tripawd at the dog park who had just passed her 4 YEAR ampuversary...I wish you this same good luck

One month is a big deal....congrats!!!! Don't focus on what you aren't doing!!!! You love your Jake and he knows that. Love him and that is all that matters in the end. We can do all the things we think we should do and it may not matter!!

Since some of you mentioned financial assistance for tripawds, I thought I would add in my two cents. Toto and I have been blessed to receive from financial assistance from a fund at our vet. Years ago a family lost their pet to cancer and they started a fund to help others who may not be able to afford treatment for their pet. So, when we went to pay for the cost of Toto's surgery we were very pleasantly surprised to find that this fund covered half the cost of his surgery! I guess the family sends in money every year and the vet decides who will receive money from the fund. We were given an address for the family to send a thank-you and pics! I just think this is such an awesome idea and it has helped us so much! It is definitely something that I would like to do in the future. Even if it is just a small contribution, it can make a huge difference for someone who needs it.
