I hope you have have an excellent day! Ranger and Athena will get extra treats today in your honor (I think a hot dog is in order!) Or maybe we'll go over to Comet's for cookies....yummm!
Lisa and Spirit Sadie's pack
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

Wishing you the very best Birthday ever. Nine years but I also know that you have another "Birth Day" approaching in just eight days - this one is also known as a One Year Ampuversary. In many respects, I found mine like the birth of a new extended life. So I think that this means that there should be a celebration pawrty starting today and continuing through New Year's Day. All the trimmings are called for - Extra Hugs, Extra Playtime, Special Treats, and ICE CREAM. Dad even has cheese, fresh green beans, and those hypoallergenic biscuits in the house. He always wants to be prepared. I have it on good authority, that he will never forget your Ampuversary.

Thanks for all the wonderful birthday wishes! Holly enjoyed lots of cheese, and some ice cream to celebrate her birthday!
And we agree with Shana - do you loan out Grandma Kay, Comet? Those cookies look wonderful! I can almost smell them! 
And Bob, you're right - we are planning to celebrate every day between now and New Years. Holly had her bath the day before her birthday so we wouldn't need to think about that during this celebratory 2 weeks! I'm planning to bring a cake or cookies into the vet's office to thank them for the care they have given Holly, and to involve them in the celebration, too! And we of course will always remember Spirit Cherry and Tehya who share a special day with Holly, as we remember all our tripawd heroes.

Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Hoppy Hoppy Hoppy Belated Birthday Holly!!! 
Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.
