Today is Holly's 8 month ampuversary! She celebrated with some cheese, some salmon for dinner and of course ice cream for dessert! Oh - and plenty of naps. It was too hot for her favorite activity - a walk, but we had some nice walks in the last few days when the weather was cooler.
Sorry we've been absent most of the summer - we promise to be regulars again now that the kids are off to college...
Cheese all around!
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Another great ampuversary for Holly - It sure is great to see these months pass with such great news. As long as Holly has enjoyed her summer and this ampuversary, then there really is not much more to be measured. Keep on doing what you have been doing and ENJOY - ENJOY - ENJOY

Yea - happy 8 month ampuversary Holly!! We hope it starts to get cooler for you like it has for us. Just a couple of days ago it was over 100! So we will be celebrating with you - of course can't forget about the cheese, ice cream and naps! Here's to many many more happy celebrations!

My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!

We have missed you- glad you'll be spending more time here.
We are on diets here so it will be a few kibbles for the pugs, and sugar free jello for me, but as they say it's the thought that counts.

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.

Chloe became a rear amp tripawd on 7-29-10. Another tumor was removed on front leg 2-20-14. Found 3rd tumor on neck 2-2015, but she's still kicking cancer's butt at age 14. Chloe's blog
