Today is Holly's 3 month ampuversary! She has started the celebration by having some beef with her breakfast, and is telling all you tripawds out there to ask your owners for extra treats today to help her celebrate! 🙂 She'll be at her friend Ernie's this week (he's a handsome yellow lab - they love to sit on his back porch and study the squirrels), as her peeps are taking a break from Chicago to get some sunshine. Of course, it's supposed to be almost as warm in Chicago this week as in Florida! Go figure.
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

What wonderful news! Three big months and we could not be happier. Sounds like your big day is off to a great start and we hope that you will get to celebrate with some ICE CREAM (always my favorite way to celebrate.) These milestones are so very great and never miss an oppertunity to celebrate. I understand what you mean about squirrels - they would sit on my back fence, flicking their tail, and driving me crazy. Dad lived in the Rogers Park area while going to school at Northwestern, but I have never had the oppertunity to visit.
Enjoy your visit to Flordia - I hope that you are away from the stormy weather they are having there right now.

Tell your pawrents thanks from all of us for sending out the message that we have another ampuversary to celebrate! Hope they have a good vacation and hope you enjoy spending time with Ernie. I'm sure your mom will miss you a lot so even if you're not having a such a great time, just pretend...humor her, you know what I mean?

My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!

Gerry has been a tripawd since 12/16/2009.
He was a shelter dog with a mysterious past and an irrepairable knee injury.

Angel Jake's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
