Every day that we get to spend with our precious companions is a day for celebration, but reaching this spectacular milestone is definitely PARTY TIME. We will be celebrating vicariously here in Northern California with all sorts of special events, treats, hugs, and toasts. So if you are hearing a lot of noise, you will know where it all came from. Please take plenty of pictures. We will be looking forward to your posting of the party/parties. After all, viewing the celebration is the best fun.
While we may not have gotten the national holiday like Nova (November 11), or the national day of Thanksgiving like Trouble (November 26), our ampuversaries are no less a moment of true inspawration. Enjoy-enjoy-enjoy!!!

Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.

Angel Jake's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
, he had to have two celebrations, because I was stuck at work today. He’s on a special healthy diet, but I am going break that for one evening by providing a little Der Wienerschnitzel (plus, Mom wants a chili-cheese dog!). Max has already celebrated this morning by going to the Dog Park with Dad. Here’s what he did, straight from a text from John’s cell phone: Yes, today is a great day for us! And we have many more planned, including meeting up with a certain Wyatt Ray Dawg in January, and meeting Cemil, Paris, Shelby, Codie Rae, Cherry and others in February (at least that’s when we plan heading back up to Carmel-by-the-Sea). We love Max very much, and we want to wish everyone here as great a day as we had!
