So now that it's Advent, I reckon it is officially not too early to share a Christmas card... Every year, I spend an absurd amount of time creating a dog-themed Christmas card, and I'll bet I'm not the only one, so I thought it might be fun to share them here.
Wishing everyone at Tripawds.com a wonderful festive season and thanking you all for your friendship and support over the past twelve months (and it is twelve months; it is very nearly exactly a year, since my very first 'Please help me, I don't know what to do' post...)

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Oh my goodness, these are just WONDERFUL!!!! What a collection. I love the girls tucked up in their beds on Christmas night. And Pugville.  I love ALL of them. Karen, you are definitely a woman after my own heart

Here's a few from previous years... The second is a little over-subtle. I received complaints that the girls weren't in it. They are, but not easy to spot.

We are still working on Ollie's Christmas card for this year, but it will be difficult to outdo Gus and Murphy's card from two years ago. NO HATS !!!!

Kathi and the Turbotail April Angel...and the Labradork
Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Clare, the ones of Angel Billie are such a treasure!!! The little sketch of Meg and Elsie is absolutely spot on!
And Karen, you Photoshopped Tani's mug???? WOW! And the one with you and the Pugs as one year old...huge awwww going on over here! I love the way you honored Maggie in three ways in that I ewent card. I LOVE them all!!!

One of the reasons I had to Photoshop so much with the pug girls is that if I put any article of clothing on one of them the other one attacked and tore it off. Always good for a laugh but I never got a picture like the one of Murphy and Gus. Priceless!

Not a huge fan of the holidays BUT the best was Santa Photos with Shelby ... she was the BEST sport in the costumes and dresses ... LOVED it! And bringing out her photos each year bring me joy... Jasper, of course, gets her photo w/Santa (this weekend) but no dresses for her.
This is the extent of my holiday decorating!All of Shelby's photos and Jasper's stocking and an advent calendar from my mom! 🙂 Happy Season everyone!!Â

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
That's so sweet, Alison. Just lovely, overflowing with Shelby love. Bet Jasper can't wait to discover what Santa will be leaving in her stocking...
