Hi all,
I wanted to let you all know that we celebrated Maggie's 11th birthday today!!
I am working on a blog update with pictures but I am not done yet, and I didn't want the day to go by without a shout out...and it needs to be really loud since she doesn't hear very well...
Sort of a low key affair as Maggie stopped counting at 10 (like I stopped counting at 39!). We slept in, went to the park, and napped on the couch. She also got her current favorite food with all meals today- KFC!! I know, maybe not the best, but it is her b-day, and it got her to eat all her food today on her own!!
Today was a good day 
Sorry I haven't been around much lately- I can't get on the site at work and Mag has really wanted to sit on my lap in the evenings so that is what we do.
I also wanted to mention that March 7th marked 3.5 YEARS since Mag's amp!!! I guess I need to update her blog for that too. We have had, and continue on an incredible run.
Here are a couple of pictures. The first one I have posted before- it is Mag at 10 weeks old. The second one I took today as we hung out on the back deck on a really nice spring day.

Happy Birthday and Happy Ampuversary to one of my best friends!!!
We girls are like fine wine, we don't get older, we just get better, and believe me when I say you don't look a day over 7!
KFC is great for a birthday treat followed by a bit of ice cream. Cherry Garcia is really, really good!

Happy Birthday Maggie!!! That sound you hear from down the road is our celebration going full fource. Eleven is a great age (I made my just before my amputation), and celebrating more that 3.5 year ampuversary is wonderful. The KFC sounds great and I hope that you were able to finish with my favorite - ICE CREAM.
We sure hope that you continue to have good days. I know that Dad has had some worries about how you are doing. Take good care of youself.

She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Hoppy Hoppy Birthday to Maggie, Hoppy 3.5 years ampuversary. I am so glad you are feeling so much better these days! Going to ask my mom for a few extra treats today in your honor, don't think it will be anything as yummy as KFC but any treats will do.

Did your mom buy you a Hannah Montana shirt and a Jonas Brothers t-shirt?!? Jack is really jealous of your KFC...he has never had it before! He has never had ice cream either. His 6th birthday is next month (hopefully he makes it!) so I need to start taking notes on what to feed the little bugger for the big day 🙂 Grats, girlie! You're amazing 🙂
