I am so happy to share that today is the 2nd Anniversary of Bruce's amputation for osteosarcoma and he couldn't be doing better!!!! He is so sweet and happy and great role model for his 4 legged siblings. In the past two years we've had a couple of bumps in the road but overall Bruce has done incredibly well and we are hoping his good fortune continues for a long time yet to come. He hasn't received any treatment since ending metronomics
in June of 2017, no x-rays, no cancer related vet visits, just hopping around loving life.

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Thank you everyone for the sweet sentiments. Bruce enjoyed lots of treats and cuddles - it's just about impossible to get pictures of the 3 beasts in one place at one time while being relatively still, so here are a few pics of Bruce's family. Butch and Sadie and of course his human sister Lucy.

PS...I think yoh already know, my Hapoy Hannah was bull Masriff, as is Merry Myrtle. Sweet gentle Souls and yes, can be quite stubborn, but so darn cute and cuddly, who cares?
