I have been so, so busy with teaching and tons of paperwork (I do it sitting next to Lily's bed) that I haven't been around for a few weeks. Lily is celebrating 23 months today, and I feel so, so fortunate to have her here with me. We went for a walk, ate her favorite treats, and had tons of hugs and kisses, followed by many words of love. During our walk, a neighbor pulled up in her car, rolled her window down, and proceeded to tell me what an inspiration Lily is. I know that she inspires me, and I am just so grateful to have her. So, we'll end the day with some peanut butter and be thankful that we have today.

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

Happy 23 month Ampuversary Lily. You are doing an awesome job of kicking some butt. You are an inspiration to everyone. Keep going girl. I love the fact that she got to have her favorite treats and special day with you Joan.

Lily, you take all that _paperwork" and shred it li,e you would if you were a pupy! Paperwork takes time away from you getting even more treats!
That was lovely that your neighbor took the time to let you kow how Liy has touched her! Liy..and yoy...have touched our hearts, that's for sure!
When I told Happy Hannah what we were going to celebrate today, she made Li a little card!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Luanne and Spirit Shooter
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Way to go Lily and Lily's mom!! Lucy is at her 23 month point too. They are so pawesome!

Lucy's front right leg was amputated 12/19/11. Thankfully there was no tumor, but her nerves were found to be degenerative. Life as a tripawd is Lucy's new adventure!!
