Today is 22 months since Jill's leg was amputated! Where on earth has the time gone!?
This last month has brought so much great news. We visited the oncologist for her biannual check up last week and x-rays and got the great news that she remains cancer free! AND the oncologist feels she is doing so great that she only needs to see her once a year now. Now I just have to work on keeping Jill's weight steady, which is a great problem to have since it was just over a year ago that she had lost so much weight we were worried the cancer may have returned.
We also got the great news that Jill will be featured in the upcoming book A Letter To My Cat. The book comes out on October 28th and we're SO excited. Jill's being a bit of a diva, but she deserves it!
I'm so proud of my little lovebug. And just to show how much she LOVES all of you and appreciates all of your support, here is a little heart she made out of her paws just for you.
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Awwwwwww Jilly that is the cutest, sweetest heart ever! We are sooo proud of you and just thrilled that you have kicked cancer's butt. A once a year visit? Along with a clean bill of health, that is the best news!!!!
22 months and look at you now kitty cat. Watch out world, Jilly's bounced back in a BIG way and she's taking the world by storm! The <a href="
