We're celebrating Lily's 19 month Ampuversary with lots of hugs, ear scratchies, and special treats!! Lily had clear chest x-rays last Saturday, so it's a double celebrationclapclap

Again, I feel so very, very blessed to have found all of you-what a wonderful support system!! Thank you all for always being there.

My Lily is so sweet-she's my heart. I haven't been able to take her for her usual short runs because I am recovering from foot surgery-probably better right now because of the heat. Hopefully, we'll resume our fast walks in Sept-she and I both miss them.

In the meantime, Lily, my tripawd warrior princess, is kicking cancer's butt!!

Joan and Lily

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

That is just an icredeible reason to celebrate! GREAT JOB LILY AND MOM! And you look so darn pretty while making YOUR own rules on how YOU will be in charge of YOUR life!!

Now, your momma needs a little help though trying to hobble with a messed up foot! Do you still have your harness? Perhaps you could duct tape it to her and hold the handle in your mouth and take her out for a walk!

Lilly'soak up every ounce of loving and spoiling---you deserve it!

We are giving you a standing ovation over here!! But this celebration is missing one thing.....yep!.....A photo showing us what a nineteenth month ampuversary gitl looks like now!!! And the crowd reallh is roaring "PHOTO! HOTO! FOR THE LOVE OF DOG.....PHOTO!:-) :-) Goodness, this crowd sure does know how to roar!!

I,ll be checking back..................

CONGRATULATIONS!

Sally and Happy Hannah

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Oh LILY! With each new ampuversary we are just more awestruck by your amazing journey. Clear x-rays AND a 19month celebration? WOW! Congratulations to you and your Momma, it's an honor to be a part of your inspawrational life!

I hope you feel better soon Joan. Surgery of any kind really stinks but I'm sure Lily will keep you inspired to be strong and heal.

Joan,

Back when Tri-pug Maggie was still with me I had a rather invasive knee surgery- crutches for 5 weeks, months of rehab. Once again Maggie became my inspiration... it's pretty humbling when you can't out walk a 10 year old, three legged pug!

I hope you are back to your normal activities soon!

Hi Joan and Lily,

this is just the sort of news that I love to read! We are nearly two months post-op and I treasure everyday with our little hop-along.

We will look to Lily, and all the other tripawd survivors that are ahead of us on the road, with great respect and hope that we have the same good fortune to keep hopping on.
